World Economic Research Institute (WERI), the Socio-Economic Research Institute of Piemonte (IRES) and Faculty of Economics of Ostrava Technical University are jointly organizing the fourth International Conference in Economics to be held at Imperial College, London, UK on 10-12 August 2016. The Conference program includes plenary sessions, panels, and presentations of contributed papers. The conference is open to all line of theoretical and empirical research in economics, finance and entrepreneurship.  The conference aims at bringing together scholars from all over the World for exchange of ideas, discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied research, and creating a research network for future joint collaborations.

Abstract Submission

An abstracts of not more than 200 words in English should be submitted 01 May 2016 through the website. Abstracts should also include 2-3 JEL codes of the research. Papers in the fields of economics, finance and entrepreneurship will be considered. Authors will receive a notification by e-mail about acceptance/rejection of their research by 10 May 2016. Full Paper Submission

The deadline to submit full papers is 01 July 2016.  Submitting full papers are up to the authors (not mandatory). Full papers submitted will be included in Conference CD. Manuscript should be single line spacing. Margins on the page should be  2.5 cm. Page numbers must be placed at the bottom of the page. Font size should be Times New Roman 12 pt. First page of the manuscript should include title, author(s) names with institutions and e-mail address of each author, abstract, keywords (min. 3, max. 5) and JEL codes. Correspondence address should be indicated by a footnote with the full mailing address, fax number and e-mail address of corresponding author. In addition, supporting agencies, etc. may also be indicated by a footnote on the first page. Abstract should not exceed 200 words for reviews and research articles. Equations, citations, uncommon abbreviations, etc. should not be included in the abstract. Please submit your full paper in MS Word format to conference@econworld.org

Registration

The registrations to EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege will start 15 April 2016.
To register to the conference, please;

1. Fill in the EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege Registration Form and send to Conference Secretariat at conference@econworld.org

2. Pay the Conference Registration Fee (information about payment options are available in the Registration Form)

3. Your registration to EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege will be completed when you receive a confirmation mail from us.

The deadline for early Registration to EconWorld 2016 is May 15, 2016. The early registration fee of £250 covers admission to sessions, all conference materials, welcome reception, and coffee breaks. Registration fee does not include accommodation and/or travel.

The deadline for late Registration to EconWorld 2016 is June 15, 2016. The late registration fee of the conference is £300.

Early registration fee for graduate students is £200. Proof of studentship is required. There is no discount for students making late registration.

Registration fee payments can be made via bank transfer at the moment. For the other payment options, please contact conference secretariat at conference@econworld.org

Invoice will be provided at the conference registration desk to all participants, unless urgently required.

EconWorld 2016 Best Research Awards

EconWorld will give a best research award of GBP500  to the best paper presented at EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege. To be eligible for best research awards;

Papers in English submitted for the award should be unpublished.

Application with full paper by April 01, 2016.

Author/coauthors must not be affiliated with organising institutions.

The award receiving author(s) have to deliver their copyrights to World Journal of Applied Economics, and publish their award receiving paper at the World Journal of Applied Economics. The article is subject to regular editorial process of the journal.

  3. Both (Registration fee waiver + Travel grant (250 GBP)) (to be given to 5 participants)

Publication Opportunities

Paper presenting authors at the EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege Conference have the opportunity to publish their papers in the following journal. Please visit the homepage of the journal for further details:

Authors must submit revised version of their papers after the EconWorld2016@ImperialCollege conference. Note that, the journal will be under no commitment to publish any article. However, they do promise an expedited refereeing process. The deadline to submit your manuscript is 29 August 2016.  Papers will be published in EconWorld Journal as early as possible in 2016. The authors should follow regular submission rules of the journal that can be found on the Journal’s web pages.
